3GT ARTISTS’ WORK ON STAGE IN 2014
ROBIN BRADFORD (Resident Playwright): LOW HANGING FRUIT will have its world premiere September 20 -October 26, 2014 (under the direction of Lee Sankowich) at the Zephyr Theatre in LA. 3GT proudly produced staged readings of the play at our 3d Annual Festival of New Works in July 2014.
JOHN FLANAGAN (3GT Actor) plays Detective Sly in DRACULA INQUEST by Central Works at the Berkeley City Club. July 10 – August 17, 2014.
PATRICIA MILTON (3GT Resident Playwright) has a ten-minute play in SUPERHEROES , produced by Wily West at the Exit Theater in San Francisco. July 17 – August 16.
LOUIS PARNELL (3GT Board Member and Actor) plays the Narrator in INTO THE WOODS at SF Playhouse. He’s joined by MONIQUE HAFEN (3GT Actor) as Cinderella. June 24 – September 6, 2014.
COURTNEY WALSH (3GT Actor) choreographed and designed the movement for MOBY DICK-REHEARSED at Stanford Repertory Theater. She also plays Tashtego,
the fierce Iroquois harpooner. ROD GNAPP (3GT Actor) is epic as the notorious Captain Ahab. July 17 – August 10, 2014.
LYNNE KAUFMAN (Alumna Playwright). Workshop production of her new musical, “After Hours: Norman Rockwell – The Musical” at the Mill Valley Public Library, Friday, June 20th at 7 p.m. Wine reception at 6:30. Admission is free. Please click here to register.
PATRICIA MILTON and LEE BRADY (Resident Playwrights). Reading of short plays by Bay Area playwrights on April 8 at 8 pm as part of the New Reader Series at City Lights Theatre in San Jose.
CAROLINE ALTMAN (Associate Artist/GirlWrights). Production of WHISKERS!, a family musical. Based on the beloved children’s classic, The Velveteen Rabbit, WHISKERS! is celebrating its 20th year of performances in San Francisco in 2014. The show runs weekends from February 8 – March 2 at the Children’s Creativity Museum in Yerba Buena Gardens. For more information about the show, click here.
ROBIN BRADFORD (Resident Playwright): LOW HANGING FRUIT will have a staged reading on February 17, 2014 (under the direction of Lee Sankowich) at the Zephyr Theatre in LA. Full production is anticipated in the fall. The play had its first public reading at the Magic Theatre on November 18.

PATRICIA MILTON (Resident Playwright): Two one-minute plays in the Playwrights Foundation 2013 Bay Area One Minute Play Festival. Saturday December 14 @ 8 pm and Sunday December 15 @ 3 pm and 8 on at Thick House on Potrero Hill in San Francisco.
LEE BRADY and MARGERY KREITMAN (Resident Playwrights): Readings of short holiday plays presented by the Monday Night Group. Thursday December 19 @ 7:30 pm at the Phoenix Theatre in San Francisco.
LYNNE KAUFMAN (Alumna Playwright) Staged reading of romantic comedy “William Blake in Hollywood” at Mill Valley Public Library, Tuesday, December 10th at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
PATRICIA MILTON (Resident Playwright): Development reading of THE WAR AT HOME, at the SF Main Library, November 10, 1 pm. Her one act play, LOSING IT, also had a reading by Playwrights Center of SF on October 28. LOSING IT (in its previous incarnation at the Olympians Festival) garnered a rave review in the Huffington Post last year.
LEE BRADY (Resident Playwright): RANDOM ACTS OF LOVE opened at the Fringe Festival in September 2013.
MARGERY KREITMAN AND LEE BRADY (Resident Playwrights): Short scenes and monologs presented as part of SUMMER SHORTS at the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley on August 17.

LOUIS PARNELL: 3GT Board member and Associate Artist Louis Parnell (Manny Diamond in AJ Baker’s THE RIGHT THING) appeared in BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE at SF Playhouse December 4 – January 19, 450 Post Street, SF.
SUZE ALLEN: 3GT Resident Playwright Suze Allen had a staged reading of her short play, DRY ROT, as part of the Dramatists’ Guild San Francisco Footlights Series on May 7 @ 7 pm. SF Playhouse Stage #2, 533 Sutter Street, SF.
MARIE SHELL: 3GT Associate Artist Marie Shell (Coralyn in Lee Brady’s WHAT ABOUT BEN?) appeared in Moises Kaufman’s 33 Variations, with TheatreWorks , October 3-28.
CATHERINE CASTELLANOS: 3GT Associate Artist Catherine Castellanos (Zell Gardner in AJ Baker’s THE RIGHT THING, March 2012) was Caliban in THE TEMPEST at Cal Shakes, May 30 – June 24, 100 Gateway Blvd., Orinda.
LYNNE KAUFMAN: 3GT Associate Playwright Lynne Kaufman’s full length play THE GREATER GOOD, a political drama, had a staged reading at 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley on May 30 at 7:30 pm as part of the Playwrights’ Lab reading series.
MARY KNOLL: 3GT Associate Playwright Mary Knoll’s one-woman comedy (with music and hula hooping,!) TO BE MERRY was presented at this year’s SF Fringe Festival, September 5-16 at the Exit Theatre, 156 Eddy St, SF. MARGERY KREITMAN: 3GT Associate Playwright Margery Kreitman performed her solo piece, PAYDAY AT PUKALANI , at the Maui Fringe Festival May 25-27, followed by a performance on June 12 at StageWerx, 446 Valencia St., San Francisco.
LOL LEVY: 3GT Associate Artist Lol Levy (Dave Heller in AJ Baker’s THE RIGHT THING) read Renny in Suze Allen’s DRY ROT at SF Playhouse Stage #2, 533 Sutter Street, SF, May 7
PATRICIA MILTON: 3GT Associate Playwright Patricia Milton had a reading of her new one-act comedy, Demeter: In the Silence of Tangerine Groves, December 13 at 8 pm at the Exit Theatre, San Francisco, as part of the San Francisco Olympians Festival. It got a smashing review in the Huffington Post. Patricia also had two microplays, The Bereaved and Flash Cards, in the One-Minute Play Festival, produced by the Playwrights Foundation. December 15 – December 16, in San Francisco. Wily West Productions premiered Patricia’s full length play, BELIEVERS. August 2-August 25 at StageWerx, SF. It was nominated for six Broadway World SF Theatre Awards!
