Actors, Directors, Technical Artists: Our Associate Artists have the opportunity to participate in our readings and development workshops as well as in our final productions. We’re always interested in dynamic, committed artists who support each other’s efforts, love to collaborate and truly enjoy the whole process. 3GT believes that making great theater should always be serious fun. Playwrights: Each year we invite a small group of Bay Area women playwrights to join us as Associate Playwrights. The 2013 Associate Playwrights have already been selected. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like to be considered for future seasons, we’d love to get to know you and your work! The best way to make that happen is to participate in 3GT Theatre Lab, and we encourage you to sign up for updates on this year’s workshop schedule. Otherwise, drop a note (no scripts, please!) to Lee Brady.
Producing Partners: Collaboration is our watchword at 3GT! Other theater/performance groups, dancers, visual artists, directors— if you have ideas for co-producing a project by a woman playwright, we’d love to hear them! We’re especially looking for partners who share our excitement about making theater happen in alternative venues as well as on traditional stages. Please email AJ Baker.
Unsolicited Scripts: We wish we had the resources to look at unsolicited manuscripts but alas, we just don’t (and please don’t send us your wonderful work, as we can neither read nor return it). However, from time to time we will be holding playwrighting competitions (such as the 3Girls Squared 10-minute play competition for our 2012 Holiday Showcase) .
