Caroline Altman (composer, lyricist, Nan) is a singer, actor, composer, director, educator, and Founding Artistic Director of Lyricabella Productions. Her award winning musicals and TYA pieces include Whiskers! The Musical of the Velveteen Rabbit; Kiss the Frog; The Snow Queen: Splinters of Ice; Josephine and the Sheep of Dreams (debuting May, 2015 at Yerba Buena Gardens); and the operatic anti-bullying touring show, How Andy Found His Voice. Collaborative musicals include Not Without Our Women (with Patricia Milton and Andy Black) and Alice in Cyberland (with Tom Dolby.) Her performing career has taken her all over the U.S. and Europe. Local credits include featured roles with Theatreworks, 42nd Street Moon, Woodminster Summer Musicals, Oakland Opera Theater, Playhouse West, and CalShakes, and have garnered her a San Francisco Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award, and a Shellie Award for Contribution to the Performing Arts. Recently turned author, Caroline published her first book, Indy at the Opera: A Kitty Traviata, about a culturally curious and artistic cat, in May. John Patrick Moore (Gerald) is thrilled to be performing in Moments of Truth. He is an Artistic Associate with Central Works where he has worked on Red Virgin (Director), Richard the First, Reduction in Force, Penelope’s Odyssey (Director), Midsummer/4, Shadow Crossing, The Mysterious Mr. Looney, The Duel, and Mata Hari. New York credits include: Mr. Knightley in Emma the Musical (NYMF), Charles in Edward III (Hope Theatre Off-Broadway Premiere), King Richard in Richard II and Jacques in As You Like It (Expanded Art’s Free Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot). Locally he has worked with Marin Theatre Company, Magic Theatre, 42nd Street Moon, The Shotgun Players, CenterRep and Pacific Alliance Stage Co. Member of Actor’s Equity.
Stephanie Prentice (Chloe) is happy to be performing again at Thick House! She was last seen in PlayGround’s production of The Tale of the Sleeping Cutie. Credits include appearances with Shotgun Players, SF Playhouse, and Shakespeare at Stinson. Stephanie lives in Danville with her husband and two young children. She is also a member of the voice faculty at Santa Clara University.
Steve Rhyne (Bill, Andre, Ron, Max) most recently appeared in Almost, Maine with Altarena Playhouse. Other notable credits in recent years include Measure for Measure (Duke Vicentio) with Town Hall Theatre, Rabbit Hole (Howie) with Contra Costa Civic Theatre, The Trip To Bountiful (Ludie) with California Conservatory Theatre, Into the Woods (Baker) with Diablo Theatre Company, and Oklahoma! (Will Parker) with Contra Costa Musical Theatre. Past favorite roles include Titanic (Harold Bride), Urinetown (Lockstock), The Subject Was Roses (Timmy), and Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour).
